Real Valladolid will square off with Valencia CF in a Spanish LaLiga match at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla on January 10.
This will be the 37th meeting between Valladolid and Valencia across all competitions since 1994. Valencia hold the upper hand in this fixture having recorded 15 wins compared to Valladolid's nine victories, while 12 games ended in a draw.

The last league meeting between Valladolid and Valencia was on 7 July 2020. Valencia emerged 2-1 winners over Valladolid in a match which was played at the Estadio de Mestalla.
Valladolid were thrashed 3-0 by FC Barcelona in their last home match in the league which took place on December 22. The defeat ended the White and Purple's three-match unbeaten run at home in LaLiga having registered two wins and one draw in build-up to the loss.

On the other hand, Valencia managed to hold Barcelona to a 2-2 draw in their last away game which was played on December 19.
The draw extended the Bats' winless run to five matches on the road in LaLiga having recorded three draws and two defeats.
Javi Garcia, the Valencia manager, says his side needs to improve.
"Our position in the table is what it is. Logically, the situation is worrying at the moment; not my personal situation," Garcia said. We need to improve, and our improvement isn't being accompanied by results.
"From my position, I try to be optimistic. In my day-to-day work I try to improve."
