The Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls will be geared for a 2020-21 NBA Regular Season game at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the morning of 16 January 2021.

The Thunder have stormed to impressive victories of late, especially in taking down the Brooklyn Nets 129-116 earlier this week, and they will be looking to carry that form into their clash with the Bulls.

“It’s been a great road trip,” said Hamidou Diallo, who finished with 25 points against the Nets, adding to the tally of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who racked up 31 points and is certainly one of the players to watch heading into this clash.

“We have a team that’s really well-intentioned,” Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said. “We want to run through the finish line.”

The Bulls, meanwhile, have endured up-and-down form so far in the 2020-21 season, but their youthful team and the new energy brought by coach Billy Donovan has fans in Chicago excited for the future.

"The energy and the atmosphere is crazy," said Bulls center Daniel Gafford. "We've got Patrick (Williams) here, we've got the new front office, a new coach. With all the stuff we have all we have to do is come in and work and be able to compete together."

"We have a different energy and an upbeat tempo about us right now," added Zach LaVine. "As a team we have something to prove. It's a commitment from everybody and a winning attitude. We're laying the groundwork and continuing to get better every day.”

In head-to-head terms, the Thunder and Bulls have met in 149 Regular Season games since 1967-68. The Oklahoma franchise has claimed 75 wins compared to Chicago's 74.

The teams last met in the Regular Season in February 2020, with the Thunder claiming a 124-122 home win, inspired by 24 points from Danilo Gallinari.
