The 2019 Italian Open is scheduled to take place at Foro Italico in Rome between 12-19 May.
This is one of the most prestigious red clay tennis tournaments in the world after the French Open.
It will be the 76th edition of the Italian Open and it is classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2019 ATP World Tour and a Premier 5 event on the 2019 WTA Tour.

Record eight-time winner Nadal is expected to face stiff competition from the likes of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
