29th Season

The 2019/20 Premier League season saw Teemu Pukki impress even though his goalscoring exploits were not enough to save Norwich City from relegation.
The Finland international took to the Premier League like a duck to water having impressed in the Championship during the 2018/19 campaign.
Pukki remarkably found the back of the net seven times in his first six matches in the league including goals against Liverpool FC, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Therefore, the former Schalke 04 marksman made history in his first month as a top-flight league player in England.
Pukki became the first player to score as many as four goals in his first two appearances in the Premier League.
The prolific centre forward had hit the back of the net once against Liverpool, before grabbing a hat-trick against Newcastle United in August 2019.
For the month of August, Pukki was named the Premier League Player of the Month and the PFA Premier League Player of the Month.
Pukki went on to score 11 goals in his debut season in the elite league and he also registered three assists.
The Canaries will once again pin their hopes on Pukki as they look to make a quick return to the Premier League by securing a top-two finish in the Championship in the 2020/21 term.

Pukki inspired Norwich to the 2018/19 Championship title after remarkably scoring 29 goals in the competition and the team was promoted to the elite league.
The former Glasgow Celtic player was named EFL Championship Player of the Season and he was included in the 2018/19 Championship Team of the Season.
Norwich midfielder Marco Stiepermann compared Pukki with Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski, who is one of the best strikers in the world.
“He’s really a goal scorer and he’s doing fantastic,” Stiepermann said in an interview with talkSPORT.
“I played together with Robert Lewandowski, and I really have this feeling [Pukki] is much colder in the 18-yard box than Lewandowski.
“Of course we don’t have to speak about [Lewandowski] because he is a world-class player, but Teemu Pukki is special.”
