This was the Pacers' third defeat in their last five home matches, while the other two games ended in a win.

Meanwhile, the Jazz are placed second on the Western Conference standings having registered 15 victories and five defeats.

The- two-time Western Conference champions succumbed to a ‪128-117 defeat to Denver Nuggets in their last away match which was played on 31 January 2021.

The defeat ended the Jazz's four-match unbeaten run on the road having registered four successive wins.

Donovan Mitchell, the Jazz shooting guard, says their streak-snapping loss to the Nuggets stings, but he emphasized the world isn't ending.

"We felt like we didn't play our best in the loss, I think that's what hurts. Especially the way we played the past few games against Dallas [Mavericks]," Mitchell said.

"To go have that performance and then come out here and then they come out and shoot 15-of-17, I think that's what hurts the most.

"And then to come out to play the way we played the second half, that's what kind of stings a little more, as opposed to the world is ending."
