2019/20 Premier League
3-5 December 2019
Leicester City will go in search of another three points when they host relegation-threatened Watford at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday 4 December 2019, kick-off at 22:30. The match is one of 10 spread from 3-5 December in the 15th
round of the current Premier League season
Leicester firmly established themselves in second place with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday, with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the goals. The Foxes are eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool, but now enjoy a three-point lead over third-placed Manchester City.

Manager Brendan Rodgers spent more of his post-match media duties refuting speculation that he will be taking over at Arsenal: “My focus is very much here with Leicester. The club has been first class with me. The project feels very exciting with a lot of development ahead. So my concentration is very much with Leicester,” said the Northern Irishman.
Watford’s terrible season went from bad to worse this past weekend when they gave away a lead and succumbed 2-1 at relegation rivals Southampton. The Hornets remain bottom of the log and are now three points behind 19th-placed Norwich City.
The club responded by sacking manager Quique Sanchez Flores. "Quique is a man of great integrity and it was clear how much he wanted to have a positive impact, but ultimately results have dictated our decision," said Hornets' Chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury.
In head-to-head stats, Leicester and Watford have met in 42 previous matches. The Foxes have claimed 18 wins compared to 14 for the Hornets, while 10 games have been drawn.
The teams’ Premier League meetings last season both produced home victories: Leicester won 2-0 at the King Power Stadium in December 2018, while Watford triumphed 2-1 in the return game at Vicarage Road in March 2019.
