UEFA EURO 2020 Championship

Italy v England

Wembley Stadium
London, England
Sunday, 11 July 2021
Kick-off is at 9 pm CAT
Italy's star striker Ciro Immobile and England captain Harry Kane will carry the hopes of their nations when they meet in the EURO 2020 final on July 11.
Immobile is the Blues' joint top scorer in this year's tournament having netted two goals alongside his compatriots Lorenzo Insigne, Federico Chiesa,  Manuel Locatelli, and Matteo Pessina.
However, Immobile is the team's main goal threat and he tends to score important goals for Italy having netted against Turkey and Switzerland in order to help his side reach the knockout phase.
A quick striker with his eye for goal and finishing ability with either foot, the SS Lazio striker could be the man to inspire Italy to their second EURO title with a win over England.

Meanwhile, Kane is in the race for the EURO 2020 Golden Boot award having netted four goals and only Cristiano Ronaldo and Patrik Schick have scored more goals (five) goals than him.
Ronaldo of Portugal and Czech Republic's Schick are no longer in the competition and Kane will be confident of finding the back of the net against Italy.
The Tottenham Hotspur marksman has scored against Germany, Ukraine (twice), and Denmark with the four goals coming in the knockout phase.
Kane is predominantly known for his clinical finishing and prolific goalscoring ability as an out-and-out striker and he could be key to the Three Lions clinching their maiden EURO title.

Kane, who is the England captain, has urged his troops to remain focused as they prepare for their clash with Italy.
He said: “It’s going to be an amazing occasion and I’m extremely proud leading the boys out in any game, no matter making history and getting to our first final," Kane said.
“As the game gets closer I’m sure the excitement and nerves will kick in. It will be a special day but there will be a winner and a loser and we have to make sure we are on that winning side. We want it to be a special day for everyone. It’s hard to take it all in at the moment but I’m sure we will all enjoy it."
The last meeting between Italy and England was on 23 March 2018.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in an international friendly match that was played at the Wembley Stadium.
