Bucks, Lakers look to continue dominance in NBA

Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to continue their dominance in their respective NBA conferences.
The Bucks have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season and they have already qualified for the playoffs.
They are sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference having recorded the most wins (54) in the competition thus far.

The Bucks became the first team to clinch a playoff berth after the Chicago Bulls defeated the Washington Wizards in February 2020.
They have won the NBA championship once (in 1971) and they will be keen to go all the way and clinch their second title this season.

The Bucks are set to travel to the American Airlines Center where they are scheduled to face the Dallas Mavericks on August 09.
Meanwhile, the Lakers have also qualified for the playoffs as a reward for their dominance in the Western Conference. 
The Lakers, who are placed at the top of the Western Conference standings, are expected to take on Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center on August 13.
They joined Bucks in the playoffs after securing a win over the former in March 2020 and they are hoping to clinch their 17th NBA championship title this season.

Their star player Lebron James, who is averaging league-high (10.5%) in this season and he is key to their hopes of winning the NBA championship trophy.
The three-time NBA champion insists that he is not looking beyond the regular season with the playoffs set to be played between August 17 and October 13, 2020.
“I’m not paying attention to what’s going on with the eighth seed right now, there’s too much that can happen,” James said.
“And then there’s play-in games to decide that, so it’s too far away right now.”
